What This Means For Buyers

Direct ordering, set-aside credit.

8(a) STARS III is a small business set-aside GWAC with a $50 billion ceiling over eight years. It gives government users flexible access to customized IT solutions and emerging technologies from a pool of 8(a) partners, and orders placed against it count toward small and disadvantaged business goals.

SolutionsAe is the prime on its STARS III contract — not a subcontractor or teaming partner — so scope, performance, and accountability sit with us.

From the CEO

Where we intend to take it.

“We are the prime on our STARS III contract which uniquely positions our organization to serve the needs of our government with customized IT solutions and emerging technologies. We believe we currently offer the most advanced payment gateway solutions to support financial transactions of all sizes globally, and hope to support agencies as they emerge into the utilization of AI, block-chains and distributed ledger, and virtual reality solutions to help us advance and compete as a country.”

Dr. Ana Everett, President and CEO — February 25, 2022

Program Background

Twenty billion awarded since 1997.

More than $20 billion has been awarded through GSA’s 8(a) GWACs since the program launched, giving over 2,000 8(a) industry partners access to the federal IT marketplace. The second cohort followed the initial STARS III award in June 2021 and expanded the pool of socioeconomically designated businesses available to federal buyers.
